OPROEP VOOR FILMS – Kinolatino 2027
Het Kinolatino Filmfestival accepteert nu inzendingen voor de 5e editie, die plaatsvindt van 19 tot en met 27 maart 2027 in Brussel en diverse steden in België.

Het festivalprogramma omvat een selectie films die meedingen naar verschillende prijzen. Speelfilms, korte films, fictiefilms, documentaires, hybride films en animatiefilms komen allemaal in aanmerking. Het programma omvat ook culturele, feestelijke en educatieve activiteiten, evenals ontmoetingen en inleidende seminars over Latijns-Amerikaanse cinema.
KINOLATINO presenteert het werk van filmmakers die de meest innovatieve filmstromingen met betrekking tot Latijns-Amerika vertegenwoordigen in verschillende steden in België. De geselecteerde films weerspiegelen de realiteit van Latijns-Amerika en het Caribisch gebied, de aspiraties van de bevolking en de thema’s die we willen verkennen door middel van de betrokkenheid en originele visie van de filmmakers. We hopen op deze manier bij te dragen aan de internationale distributie van de belangrijkste producties in deze filmindustrie.
GRATIS REGISTRATIE
Om in aanmerking te komen, mag een film niet eerder in Brussel zijn vertoond. Regisseurs uit Latijns-Amerika en andere landen kunnen hun fictie- en documentairefilms inzenden die tussen 2025 en 2026 zijn geproduceerd. Inzendingen moeten een downloadlink en wachtwoord bevatten.
Indien de film niet in de originele taal is, moet de ingezonden kopie Franse of Engelse ondertitels bevatten. De aanvraag moet vergezeld gaan van een digitaal bestand van de filmposter in hoge resolutie, evenals een technisch overzicht met daarin: de originele titel van de film, de volledige naam van de regisseur, het land en jaar van productie, de speelduur van de film, het distributiemedium, de taal van de film, de naam van de cameraman, de naam van de geluidstechnicus, de naam van de editor, de naam van de originele muziek, de cast, de namen van de producenten, de naam van de productiemaatschappij en de contactgegevens van coproductie- en verkoopmaatschappijen.
Deelnemers stemmen ermee in het festival het recht te verlenen hun ingediende materiaal (afbeeldingen, foto’s, teksten, trailers, enz.) te gebruiken en de bijbehorende fotocredits te vermelden. Ze machtigen het festival tevens om dit materiaal kosteloos te gebruiken in al haar communicatiematerialen, zowel fysiek als digitaal (website, sociale media, persconferenties, catalogus, flyers, video’s, enz.).
Dien uw films gratis in vóór 30 september 2026 door de vereiste informatie te sturen naar amigues@kinolatino.be of via https://filmfreeway.com/Kinolatino (alleen korte films). Speelfilms moeten langer zijn dan 60 minuten, terwijl korte films korter moeten zijn dan 26 minuten.
CALL FOR FILMS – Kinolatino 2027
The Kinolatino Film Festival is now accepting submissions for its 5th edition, which will take place from March 19 to 27, 2027, in Brussels and various cities across Belgium.

The festival program features a selection of films competing for various awards. Feature films, short films, fiction, documentaries, hybrid films, and animated films are all eligible. The program also includes cultural, festive, and educational activities, as well as meetings and introductory seminars on Latin American cinema. KINOLATINO showcases the work of filmmakers representing the most innovative cinematic movements related to Latin America in various cities throughout Belgium. The selected films reflect the reality of Latin America and the Caribbean, the aspirations of its people, and the themes we wish to explore through the filmmakers’ commitment and original vision. We hope in this way to contribute to the international distribution of the most important productions in this film industry.
FREE REGISTRATION
To be eligible, a film must not have been screened in Brussels prior to the festival dates. Latin American and non-Latin American directors may submit their fiction and documentary films produced between 2025 and 2026. Submissions must include a download link and password.
If the film is not in its original language, the submitted copy must include French or English subtitles. The application must be accompanied by a high-resolution digital file of the poster, as well as a technical sheet including: the film’s original title, the director’s full name, the country and year of production, the film’s running time, the distribution medium, the film’s language, the name of the director of photography, the name of the sound engineer, the name of the editor, the name of the original score, the cast, the names of the producers, the name of the production company, and the contact information for co-production and sales companies.
Participants agree to grant the festival the rights to use their submitted materials (images, photos, texts, trailers, etc.) and to include the corresponding photo credits. They also authorize the festival to use these materials free of charge in all its communication materials, both physical and digital (website, social media, press conferences, catalog, flyers, videos, etc.).
Submit your films free of charge before September 30, 2026, by sending the required information to amigues@kinolatino.be or via https://filmfreeway.com/Kinolatino (for short films only). Feature films must be longer than 60 minutes, while short films must be shorter than 26 minutes.
