Memo Pimiento: Memo Pimiento is a daring hybrid duo featuring live producer/musician Memo (MX), known for his crazy sound effects from his analogue and digital keyboards and samplers, accompanied by the spicy pepper front woman Manon (BE), a fire starter with powerful punk energy and vocals in three different languages. Following the movement of «cumbia is the new punk», their electrifying and frenetic take on Latin American rhythms transform the traditional concept of a concert into a FIESTA. The result is psychedelic electro-cumbia: a mix of cumbia chicha (Perú) with sonidera (Mexico), villera (Argentina) and European electronic music like synthpop and krautrock. As a psychologist, digger, radio host, and selector, he brings a diverse range of sounds to the decks. With a love for tropical vibes, cumbia, funk, and Latin funk, Beto also digs into disco, house, and breaks, creating fun, energetic sets that keep the dance floor alive.
